Inserting a Text Slide

1. Now you will want to insert your first text slide.

Click  "Insert"

Click "New Slide..."



2. Click a layout for the slide.  Remember: Pick a "text only" slide; -- they are the 4 located on the top row of choices.

Click "Ok"


3. Your New slide appears.  Go ahead and title the slide by clicking the "Click to add title area" and typing a title.

Text is added the same way.  Each time you hit "Enter" a new bullet is created. It is best to only have 3 - 5 bulleted items per screen.

 


Congratulations!  You have created a text slide for the slide presentation.  Before going to the next section be sure to save your work.  (hint: Click the file save icon  )
