Now you will want to insert your first picture
slide.
Click "Insert"
Click "New Slide..." |

Click a layout for the slide. Be sure that your
choice leaves room for the image! The bottom four choices leave room
for picutures.
Click "Ok" |

Your New slide appears. Go ahead and
title the slide as before |

You now have two choices:
1) Add clipart from the Microsoft ClipArt gallery
2) Add your own image from an image file. |

To add clipart from the ClipArt
gallery double click the clipart icon.
The clipart gallery will appear and you can chose a picture to insert. |

To add an image from and image file click
Click "Insert" |

Click "Picture" ... "From
File..." |

Click the pulldown menu labeled "Look in:"
and select "31/2 Floppy (A:)" (or wherever your image files are
located. |

A list of your files appears. Select the
one you want and then click "Insert". |

Your picture appears on the slide.
If you picture appears too large (as illustrated here) you can click
the image once to invoke "sizing handles on the corners of the
picture.
The sizing handles may be dragged to resize the picture. Note:
To
ensure proportional resizing, hold down the "cntrl" key
while using the sizing handles. |
